New Online Request System for Facilities Events Services

Columbia University Facilities is pleased to announce a new, easy way to request facilities services for your on-campus events (such as special event clean-up, furniture rental and labor services for special event set-ups and breakdowns.) Beginning today, Monday, July 8th, an online request system will replace the hard-copy request form currently used.

The online request system is easy to use, requires less paper and offers more convenient service. It can be accessed the same way you currently request all other Facilities services online:

1. Visit our Web site at http://facilities.columbia.edu.
2. Click "Request a Service" and "Submit a New Request"
3. Log on using your UNI and password
4. For event services click on "Special Event Support Services."
5. Complete the form and submit. A valid department and project number must be provided at the time the request is submitted.

Please note that online service requests must be submitted more than five business days prior to the event date. If your event date is within five business days from the service request, please contact the Events Administration Office at 212-854-8607 or via email at facilities-eventsadmin@columbia.edu. As a reminder please make sure you have reserved your event space prior to submitting your online service request.
