About these Projects:

In efforts to make necessary upgrades to Pupin Hall, while preserving its historic significance on the campus, a series of concurrent projects will commence in the spring of 2014 and continue until the fall of 2016. These projects include the New Theory Center, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) core vertical upgrades, the replacement of the majority of copper repousse and embossed copper fascia panels around entire perimeter of the building, and a Pupin/CEPSR 5th and 6th Feeder Project. Below is more information on each project.

New Theory Center – 8th and 9th Floor

The Theory Center involves the renovation of the eastern portion of the 8th and 9th floors to accommodate the emergent needs of the Theoretical Physics Department. It will provide a modernized space for interaction and collaboration amongst theorists. This project was completed in the fall of 2015.
