Welcome! We look forward to helping you find a home for your tenure here at Columbia. Faculty and Staff Housing personnel work closely with the University's Housing Priorities Committee which determines policies and priorities for the allocation of housing to eligible faculty and staff.
The Housing Essentials section will take you through the basics of the faculty housing application process, and includes information on eligibility as well as the types of housing available.
Faculty Housing Application
Eligible officers of instruction and research may apply for Housing. All applicants will be asked to complete a short online housing application.
The Arbor

At present, because the demand for housing greatly exceeds the supply of available apartments, only full-time, compensated Officers of Instruction, Research and Libraries (including those with visiting appointments) are eligible to apply. In determining who is shown apartments, priority is given to those in greatest need. Read more here.
