Parking at the Morningside Heights and Manhattanville campuses is a scarce resource.  The University Parking Committee is responsible for all policy matters and assignments for garages on these campuses and at the Arbor; the Residential Finance and Parking Office manages the day-to-day operation of these facilities and refers issues to the Committee for review.  Please review the Morningside Heights Campus Parking Policy on the University's Administrative Policy Library website for full policy details.

Daily Parking

The Engineering Terrace Garage will be closed from Monday, June 3rd through Sunday, August 25th for necessary repairs; during this period no daily parking requests will be accepted as there will be no available capacity (regular ETG parkers will be relocated temporarily to IAB).

As per University policy, the primary use of the limited space in the Morningside garages is to provide regular parking for eligible faculty, and after they have been accommodated, senior administrators, and accordingly daily parking is extremely limited during the academic year, particularly on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.  When there is sufficient space for daily parking, it is made available to visitors to campus participating in classes, meetings, and events and to faculty and administrators in connection to a specific University business purpose, and a $22 daily charge applies.

Requests should be made no later than noon one business day prior; earlier requests are greatly appreciated.  Requests received after 3 p.m. on the prior business day, when they can be accommodated, carry a $22 additional fee.  Should space be available, it will be assigned in either the IAB garage, located on West 118th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive, or the Engineering Terrace Garage, located at Amsterdam Avenue and West 119th Street. For more information, visit our General Information page.  Cancellations must be made no later than 3 p.m. on the prior business day to avoid being charged.
